The brief from the client was to create a new poster for her Yoga studio, promoting her new specials. She wanted something new and modern from her last poster which was simple and heavy on the text, therefore not very eye-catching. The client wanted a lot of text on the poster which I designed to break it up so it was easier to read and not so heavy on the design. On the first side I chose an image of the whole team as it is a family owned studio, this was an important selling point to their business. I laid the important text about the specials on the font so customers can see the important information loud and clearly straight away. The typeface I used is loud and demanding to grab attention while also being readable and modern. On the second side I chose an image that portrays the special red light therapy the studio offers that separates it from their competition, another important value to the business. I blocked out the bottom with the important contact information to make it obvious and clear. The client was pleased with the flyer and used it to promote her specials.
