I recent got to freelance for Oncam’s ONVU learning company which develops video products for teachers and schools. They had three briefs in one. Icons for their website, colourful avatars and an infographic explaining how to use the product which is still in the works designing. For the icons Oncam needed 8 different simple icons for their website. The brief was to keep them simple and an easy symbol to understand like a traffic sign. I designed them off their products meaning and made them simple and easy to read. The second brief was to make colourful, friendly avatars to be used as icons to explain how to use the product and who the product is for .This included teacher, head teacher, admin, coach, support team, and, installer. I chose colours that are in elements of their brand that are bright and playful to illustrate who uses what part of what product. The last brief is an infographic explaining to teachers how to use the product. I designed it simple to understand but also eyecatching so it wasn’t an overload in information. I chose a monochromic design as it is going be printed out around the school. Oncam was pleased with the results and are continually to work with me in the future.
